Lookout Nieuwpoort ceases to exist from November 1st 2010.

This entails some modifications for shipping:

Traffic signs:

1) Traffic signs Nieuwpoort are permanently extinguished

2) Two stop signs with yellow flashing lights 'Kromme Hoek' are put out and can be struck off the list of lights

3) Fog horn on the eastern mole is automated

4) Fog bell on the western mole is out of service

5) Control diabolo with purple flashing light on pilotage building is automated
